Sincerity


I read this quote on twitter

"Don't tell your problems to people: eighty percent don't care; and the other twenty percent are glad you have them."


Sometimes, this life can be so tiring
And we wish for some rest
but....
"In remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest"
maybe, just maybe
Our love for dunya is what's making us so tired
and maybe, just maybe
In our hearts, we are not remembering Him enough 
"Allah has not made for any man two hearts in one body....." (33:4)

You cannot love Allah, love akhirah...
and love the dunya at the same time
because you only have one heart
and that heart
must choose
which he loves the most
Ibn Abbas reported that
the Messenger of Allah
(Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
"The strongest faith is to be sincere for the sake of Allah, to hate for the sake of Allah (Tabarra), to love for the sake of Allah (Tawalla), and to discard for the sake of Allah."

may Allah guide me
may Allah guide us

Value what you have seen already, 
You may never see these sights again. 
 Value the gatherings of friends and family 
For the time of separation is ever drawing near. 
 Value life's fresh breeze 
For you may never come this way again.

Aku hairan dengan orang yang mengetahui bahwa hisab adalah suatu kepastian, tapi mengapa ia tetap mengum
pulkan harta dan menghitung-hitungnya;

Aku hairan dengan orang yang mengetahui panasnya api neraka, tapi mengapa ia tetap berbuat dosa;

Aku hairan dengan orang yang mengaku mengenal Allah, tapi mengapa ia meminta tolong kepada selain-Nya;

Aku hairan kepada orang yang mengaku mengetahui kenikmatan syurga, tapi mengapa ia merasa hidup tenang di dunia;

Dan aku hairan kepada orang yang mengetahui syaitan adalah musuhnya, tapi mengapa ia mentaatinya.”
